Mask Renewed

This merriment of ours will never cease.
Let the champagne pour; glasses click some more.
No hindrance to the laughter or the tease.
Even if grieved heart is crushed to the core.
The winds of fallacies now blow; so I,
Have left my truth far behind me; To get
Pleasure of bodies, choking souls do die.
So, my soul now cheats, knowing no regret.
Forgiven myself have I, for the cheat.
Forgiven myself have I, for the lies.
Now for me as much for you, is the treat
Of my painted lips, my mascaraed eyes.
With my broken pieces of heart now glued,
Back again am I with my mask renewed.

Very very touching words.

If one truthfully looks within, he knows about masks he is wearing.

Ya know, Almas? I also zeroed in on
"...broken pieces of heart now glued."

So many Peeps I know with 'broken heart' believe it is broken forever. I like your attitude concerning that.

And--again--how simple a matter to escape reality, believe that insanity which denies all our/my knowing truth from false, right from wrong.

Good writing on the topic Thanks.

AWWWW! C'mon Almas...lift the curtain of comments to your blog.

I wished so much to commiserate over the loss of Kitty Cat...I have a cat who loves me a whole lot. He 'talks' to me, and I to him. In fact, he will not go outside for the night, until we have had "our private time" together in the living-room darkness.

And after that, he rushes to the patio door. I'm sorry you have to suffer over this. You must have an idea that kitty is suffering no more.

This post touches me more, because I also am attached to my little one...who I rescued almost 14 years ago, when he was only 4 inches long.

Oh Steve am really sad coz of my cat. :(
i didnt know you had a cat :) that too for 14 years!! Wat is his name? ?

And you must know that i like you and really appreciate your comments. But, there are certain 'others' who write absurd things. And there are other reasons too, to close comments. I know many might find it rude. But, i need to keep my sanity.

YOU - I thank for all your words .
God bless your family and meow :)
